How your payout is calculated

The amount of your payout depends on the specific claims we can assert against the airline on your behalf. For flight delays and cancellations, you are generally entitled to compensation of €250 – €600 per passenger, depending on the distance of the flight route. If your flight is cancelled without a replacement provided by the airline, you may also be entitled to a refund of your ticket price.
We pay out the successfully secured compensation amount to you, minus our success fee and the applicable VAT. Should we need to involve our lawyers, an additional fee of 14 per cent will be charged.

Your payout in case of success

We transfer your payout immediately after receipt of payment from the airline. We usually receive a success fee of 20 to 30 per cent (+VAT) of the enforced amount. For those special cases, we charge an additional surcharge of 14 per cent, only applicable in case of success.

A settlement can result in lawyers’ fees and court fees outweighing the compensation amount if they are not (which is standard practice) assumed by the airline.
